Article 1 The name of this foundation shall be the China International Medical Foundation, CIMF for short.

Article 2 The China International Medical Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the Foundation) is a body corporate initiated and founded by the Chinese Medical Association and registered at the Ministry of Civil Affairs. The Foundation is open to the general public nation wide.

Article 3 The mission of the Foundation shall be to promote international medical exchanges, to solicit and accept domestic and foreign funds and supplies, and to organize programs for the good of the general public, so as to serve the medical and health cause in China and the modernization of medical sciences in China.

Article 4 The amount of starting funds of the Foundation shall be four million yuan (RMB) from donations.

Article 5 The Registration Authority of the Foundation shall be the Ministry of Civil Affairs, China and the Responsible Authority for the work of the Foundation shall be the Ministry of Health, China.
